2014/15 PPD Hamilton workshop series and events.

Last year we ran a series of workshops to try and find out what the community was interested in aside from just our annual Harvestfest. One of the outstanding requests was for workshops centered around the Wheel of the Year and to tie in crafts to go with the time and a workshop or discussion related to it. So then with that in mind here are the topics you've asked for. One other point that was made was to try and bring in someone to lead the craft/talk that has a strong interest in the subject and the ability to show others if there is a craft involved on how to do that. So in the topics that follow you will see listed Facilitated by TBA.
We are now looking for folks to take on a topic and run with it. We want to keep costs to a minimum so please keep that in mind. If you are interested please drop Drew a line at chari@ppdhamilton.org  and let him know why you are interested, what experience you have with he topic/craft and how you would make this fun for all participating. Remember the participants may be from all paths and walks of life or no path at all. So why not try? Here is a chance to show your skills and share your knowledge in the community. Please have some fun with these and even if you aren’t able to lead a session come on out and learn a new skill and take part in the talk.

Unless posted the sessions will take place in the basement of the St. Peter’s HARRP Centre (http://harrrp.ca/) located at 705 Main St E Hamilton from 12:30 – 2:30 pm sharp (there are other classes using the space before and after us).
