PPD 2007 Schedule of Events Click Here

Making Mosaics
Presented by Tamarra James, High Priestess of the Wiccan Church of Canada

Description:
This workshop will offer children an hour of fun!  Mosaics will be made using dried beans, lentils, etc., coloured paper and glue.  Supplies will be limited to the first 12 attendees.
All children are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult.

Chanting
Presented by Tamarra James, High Priestess of the Wiccan Church of Canada

Description:
Children love to chant. This little sing-along will help them to learn some of our old favourite Circle chants, along with some dance or movement.  This workshop is appropriate for children of speaking age and should be accompanied by an adult.

Pentagrams: What Popsicle Sticks Were Really Made For
Presented by Lidia

Description:
Popsicle sticks will either be glued or twined together to create pentagrams.  While children are thus occupied, there will also be a lesson on what the pentagram means to Pagans.  The finished projects will be kept by the children.
Materials will be supplied but space is limited to the first 12 attendees.

Presenter Bio:
Lidia spent her past life as a costume designer.  And as a mother of 5 kids, grandmother to another 5, is uniquely qualified to work with kids on all kinds of arts and crafts projects.
In Craft (with a capital C) sense, she is a semi-solitaire now, primarily working with two fellow-pagans, but used to be connected to an Alexandrian coven through which she has received her 2nd degree.  She loves the Goddess and serves the Gods wherever there is a need or call.

We are presently looking to create a Committee to run the Children's Area.  If you are interested in joining the PPD 2007 team, please contact us at info@ppdhamilton.org.
